Quality Piano & Furniture Refinishing
All the refinishing we do here at NCR is done by hand. No short cuts here! First we hand strip the project and then each piece is examined for structural strength. Then each piece is hand sanded to remove any of the old finish and to get down to the beauty of the original natural wood.
For the finish we use top quality stains, sealers, and top coats to bring out all the unique qualities of the wood. Finally restoring and renewing the item to a new long lasting finish that will guarantee our customer's satisfaction for years to come. All refinishing projects are finished with the customer's choice in stains, lacquers, and paints.

Finished baby grand piano refinishing project NCR did for a local customer. |

Here's what this customer had to say about the work done by NCR.
I had seen the flawless work done at NCR many times and decided to send my 1924 rebuilt Fischer Ampico piano to be refinished. I wished I would have taken a picture before the piano was refinished so you could see a comparison. The old finish was cracked, sun faded, chipped, dirty and stained. When the piano was returned, the finish was better than new. The finish is so smooth that it feels like glass. I had the roll cabinet done at the same time so the finishes would match. Side by side the finish is identical. In the pictures, because of lighting, some shots seem darker, but they are matched perfectly. Since the piano had already been rebuilt, I was hesitant at first to send it out because with the player mechanism it weighs about a thousand pounds and it is clumsy and very temper-mental. When the piano was returned, it looked perfect and still played perfectly. I have seen dining room, living room, bedroom sets and even cupboards that have been refinished at North Country and they have been flawlessly finished with great care and craftsmanship.
